Leaving Yellowstone puts us right into Teton National Park. The view was awesome. Again, Mother Nature was kind by giving us beautiful weather.

This was the top of the Air Tram at Mount Rendezvour at Teton Village which we just happened upon because there were no vacancies at Jackson Hole when we arrived. The only availability was a "hostel" at Teton Village so we took it. If you look real close at the next picture, it was taken from the bottom of the lift and the top is at the very peak next to the visible cable on the right.

Ma and I were fortunate to happen upon a food festival at Jackson Hole the day we arrived. We ate our way through the crowd. It was a real treat. All the local resturants set up tents and cooked out.

We were able to spend some time at the Lake Lodge near the Canyon. This was a place where we saw a whole herd of buffalos real close. Some were too close for comfort. When you could reach out and touch one......THAT'S TOO CLOSE.

As you can see they are right in the front lawn.

The beach on the lake in the evening was spectacular. Mother Nature smiled upon us as she bathe us with the warmth of the sunset and caressed us by a cool gentle breeze. Ma and I sat and watched as the sun departed and the evening glow appeared. Ma stood up and gave a melancholy sigh and I took the picture.

This was our last breakfast in Yellowstone. As it turned out, we really enjoyed it. We got back from the Lake Lodge real late and found everything closed and the Canyon area wasn't going to be opened the next morning until 11am and we wanted to get an early start so we ate in the room with what we had on hand.
I post this picture before: sorryWe were able to finally secure lodging in the Inn on the third day. What a grand place. It was nice to be in the Lodge during the evening hours because they had a fire going in the big fireplace, live entertainment (piano player and violinist)
.
We have several shots of geysers around the area and some were claimed to be 100's of thousand of years old. Mom and I spend the day walking all around the park grounds smelling the pungent but rather appealing aroma in such beauty and wonder of Mother Nature.

First night was spent at West Yellowstone and since we took all the pictures we wanted the first time, there will be none here. First stop Monday was at Old Faithful Inn to set up accommodations. We're able to book the first night at Grant Village, the second at Old Faithful Lodge, and finally the third night at the Old Inn. Needless to say we are going to be traveling back and forth a little bit. But, we'll be here on Wednesday. It is a beautiful Inn and magnificently appointed. The Geyser is only a short distance away and I got a video of the entire eruption with the new camera.
Ma was acting her goofy self and the air was just starting to get chilly.

We were able to get a shot of some Mooses from the car. They were just minding there own business but all the cars stopped to take pictures.

This was a shot taken inside the Inn. A guy and his family was there and we helped each other get the shot you see here.
This is a shot taken by tripod of the Lakeside Resturant at Grant Village for our first night in the park. No TV, no WiFi, but very peaceful and right next to the largest lake in Yellowstone. The resturant sits right on the shore of the lake and Ma and I ate dinner looking at the water. Really nice.
